A Mage the Ascension play-by-post Game

Character Pages

Player Characters

Player characters (PCs) are characters that are created and portrayed by the players of the game. They are the main cast of the game, and they are often the subjects and heroes of the various plots on the boards. The PCs that exist within Providence are all either Tradition mages whom are a part of the Chantry of Thirteen Faiths or mortals (both Sleepers and Acolytes) of Providence. More information about a specific player character can be found on their character page, found by clicking their name in the list on the right.

Please note! Anything under the OoC header in a given character's page is out of character information, unless you have scenes to verify your character's knowledge. As such, anyone using information from the OoC section of a character's page without the verifiable evidence that they learned this in-character (links to scenes where the information was shared is preferred/accepted) is considered to be metagaming and subject to appropriate repercussions/punishments, determined by the staff. These headers are utilized for the convenience of readers, so you may read the information beneath the OoC headers at your own risk/curiosity. Please be certain you can differentiate between character knowledge and player knowledge before perusing out-of-character information provided on these pages.

The links to the right are under construction! Not all have pages attached to them yet, as this is a work in progress!

Non-Player Characers

Non-Player characters (NPCs) are characters that are created and portrayed by the staff of the game. These are the supporting cast, though some NPCs experience major roles, and they are often the antagonists or additional flavor for the plots of the boards. These NPCs can be a number of things, from mortals to vampires to werewolves to other mages. More information about a specific 'main' NPC can be found on their character page, found by clicking their name on the second list, to the right. Most NPCs do not have a page for themselves, though they do have character descriptions on the forums.
